Christmas Vacation!

I spent the 2 days after Christmas visiting with Stacy’s family in Warminster. We went to see Shady Brook Farm’s Annual Holiday Light Show. You can drive your own car through this display, but Stacy wanted to do the hayride, so we sat in an open air trailer (sitting on benches, not hay,) pulled by a farm tractor. The whole display takes about 20 – 30 minutes to get through. If you’re driving in your own vehicle, there is also a food shed you can drive up to and order hot chocolate, funnel cakes, etc. to eat while you enjoy the show. This display is similar to the one at Shadowbrook Golf Gourse in Tunkhannock, but Shady Brook’s whole layout and offerings are much larger, complete with several fire pits, kettle corn, s’mores, etc. If you’re looking for something to do during the holiday season, I would recommend checking this place out. When we finished up with the festivities here, we drove around the area, checking out some of the Christmas decorations, and ending up at the Continental Tavern in Yardly for dinner. (Their wings were delicious!)
